Will glass products become moldy? Every spring and summer, due to the characteristics of high temperature and humidity, the moldy of glass enters the peak period. Do you know how to identify and check mold glass? What should I do if glass products have mold problems?
1. Moldy glass phenomenon:
1. White fog and white spots: the slightest mildew on the glass surface due to storage time, air humidity or glass quality problems.
2. Rainbow: When white fog and white spots appear for a long time and are not treated in time, a rainbow will be formed. At this time, the moldy condition just stays on the glass surface and does not corrode into the glass.
3. Sulfurization: The appearance characteristics of moldy glass are the same as mild moldy, but the alkaline moldy components on the glass surface have corroded into the glass, which is a serious moldy.
4. Paper printing: Like sulphur, the mold is on the outside and inside of the glass, which is a serious mold.
Second, the identification and inspection methods of mildew:
The visual appearance method is the most concise and feasible method. Under concentrated strong light, place the sample in the reflected light and transmitted light to observe whether there are spots and fog on the glass surface. These spots and mists cannot be wiped off with cloth or water. The glass with the above phenomenon indicates that the sample has become moldy. If under concentrated strong light, a few spots and mists are slightly mildewed with naked eyes. If under concentrated strong light, a lot of spots and light mist are observed with the naked eye, which is moderate moldy. If there is no concentrated light beam, some spots and mists are severely moldy.
